Wanna Play??? Free glimmer mist!!!

I debated whether or not to post a pic of the package I recieved today, but I just had to share my joy with the only people who would understand! Not to say ANYTHING bad about my family but I really don't expect my husband or kids to understand the magnitude of my happiness!

YES, today I recieved my design team package from Tattered Angels and along with what I already had I was able to have at least one of each of the bottles the carried in stock!!! So starting in tomorrows class, I will have EVERY COLOR of glimmer mist for my students to play with!!!

Things are starting to pick up in our area, I am teaching at Scrapbooking Heaven tomorrow, Scrappin' Escapes the next weekend, and I was just asked to teach at Scrapfest for Sophia Trujillo of Strictly Scrapbooking where I will be teaching one of her classes and also be doing a FREE make and take at the Strictly Scrapbooking booth. And you better believe that these bottles of glimmer mist are going to tag along for everyone to play with!!!

With over 100 bottles of glimmer mist, TONS of Sakura pens, and TONS of prima product to play with you are sure to want to catch at least one of these events. PLUS I will be giving away TONS of product from Prima, Tattered Angels and Sakura.

For more info click on the links to for info.

To celebrate, I thought I would do an RAK of 5 (1oz.) bottles of glacier glimmer mist to kick off these events. I will be randomly drawing names from anyone (local or out of state) that has signed up for my feedblitz newsletter. So all you have to do is sign up and you will be added to the drawing. I will randomly pick winners throughout the rest of September. So you have till the end of September to sign up. International bloggers, I am not to sure about shipping rates, so I will have to figure out shipping charges before I can enter you in the drawing, so feel free to email me first if you'd like.

What will you get if you sign up? Info on upcoming classes, challenges and contest. Also I will continue to do RAK's of my stash, so this will give you advanced notice. All in all it is a great way to keep up with me, my giveaways and any contests or classes that I will be hosting.

So here is to free stuff!!!

XOXO,

~Liz

For the good of Aaron

As most of you know, I have a passion for Autism. When I heard about Noel's nephew and the struggles that his family go through on a day to day basis. it just latched to my heart. Locally we have been working on raising funds to get Aaron his service dog.

Last week the SO Cal Scrapbook retailers had their Vendor Faire. I was asked by Sophia of strictly scrapbooking to organize something for Aaron so that we could help him raise money. We came up with a raffle and product was graciously donated by all the vendors at the show. Together, we raised $595 for Aaron's dog. And the winner ended up being Sophia! She graciously donated the basket back and is now selling raffle tickets for $10 at her store to raise even more money for Aaron.
I estimate that there is roughly about $1000 of product in there. American Crafts donated 27 packs of Thickers, one of each from their display (over $300 alone!) Making Memories donated TONS of stuff (close to $300 as well) My Minds Eye Donated 4 complete paper line kits, and so much more!!! I only wish I could remember what was in the basket. The picture should give you a good idea though.
So if you are interested in purchasing a ticket, ANYONE can buy one!!! check out the store site for contact info adn they will hook you up.
Aaron is soooooo close to getting his dog, I really hope this pushes his funds over the edge and he will get his dog!!!
XOXO

Another MISTifying creation!

THE STORY OF US

white flowers dyed with glimmer mist

(thanks to trish for this trick!)

This LO is for my husband. We met in March of 2001 and that Easter he took me to his church for Easter services, and I was blown away. The service was a performance of the pursecution of Christ. It hit me hard. I sat there next to him just crying. I knew at that point that this man had faith, and he held it strong and dear to his heart. From that moment forward I was drawn like a magnet to Cottonwood Christian Center . I never knew just how much I needed a relationship with Christ until I met James and he shared his love for God with me. It only took me a few months to dedicate my life to Christ but from that moment on Easter as I kissed him on our way home, I knew he was for me and I for him. So this pic was taken 7 years later, Easter service with 3 kids in the background in the same parking lot with the same love behind it. I thank him for making my life full and showing me just how rich and beautiful a life in Christ can be.

So with this, I hope you find yourself scrapping about you and that someone, whether it be a child, your mate, your mother, father any one special to you. Create a story of US for that special person and record it so that everyone can know your story. If you do take on this challenge, email me @ primadonnaliz@yahoo.com and I will try and post your creations. I do hope you find the time to join in since it is the essence of why we scrap, to let someone know just how we feel about them and in reality we need to make it on a page or two once in a while too!!!

thanks for peeking, I am going to go and get a tissue now! I know I am such a wimp!

some fun stuff,

Paintables, glimmer mist and Dude cards...OH MY!

Paintable doen with girly glimmer mist colors

Thank you card using Dude line from Prima

Boyish paintable using Glimmer mist

Dude where's my card class

Well, like I said I have been up to something, definitely. Here are a few projects that I have had in the works and I have failed to post pics of. BTW, I am IN LOVE with glimmer mists. I have been using them seriously on every project, and am amazed!!! The paintables started off black and white but with just a few colors of glimmer mist they have a whole new look. I like the look and ease of glimmer mist because it is a one stop shop with the paintables. I also have used watercolor pencils and crayons, alcohol inks, stained glass paints glaze pens, and souffle pens. The possibilities are endless with paintables.

The "Dude Where's my Card" class is coming up at Scrapbooking Heaven in Huntington Beach, Ca. in July. With these cards I used the Dude rub-ons and paper line. We also are using some non traditional scrap items and altering crystals with this one. I haven't done a card class and am looking forward to this!

I would love to post some of my buds projects here if you ever have anything you are proud of and want to show off, then let me know!

New Class @ Strictly Scrapbooking

I am so jazzed to be teaching a paintables class at Strictly Scrapbooking, In Cerritos. This class will feature a variety of techniques with watercolor pencils, stickles, paint sprays, stained glass paint, and glimmer mist ( If I get my shipment by then!) So if you are in the area, come check us out. We will be hanging out and playing with these lovelies on Saturday June 12th from 1-3pm. I will also have my sewing machine around so that we can add a little decorative edge.

See you there!
