Peppermint-Palooza and more!

So today we made 8 pounds of peppermint bark! It only took less than an hour plus me and James had a blast. We are giving it to his clients tomorrow and to our friends. Sadly I am sure this will not be our last batch for the season. So if you ever wondered what 8 lbs. of chocolate looks like here ya go! And Some more wonderful news... Our new TV sideboard arrived yesterday! I am so in love with this style! It was made with reclaimed doors from Indonesia and has alot of hand crafted carving. We looked long and hard and finally found this one @ Chartreuse .
It is a one of a kind piece, and a hard to find one at that!

This will probably be our christmas present to eachother but it is well worth it.

    Happy thoughts to you and yours for the 24th and 25th of December, steve and I decided to open one package on the evening of 24th after we get back from our candle light service, the one we chose has been up in our closet since September. We will be going somewhere in the lower part of Washington from the 28th- 31st for our 28th anniversary. I like the idea of using repurposed doors to make that piece of furniture. Wow on the bark!
