ADVENT-UROUS scrapping~

What a wonderful way to count down to my favorite holiday, Christmas! Found this @ Target on Wednesday and decided to make it my own. I have been dying to break open my Prima prize ( it has been taunting and teasing me since it has not made it into my scrap area yet!) so today I took the plunge and after a few hours this is what I came up with.

I also sanded the edges to give it an old distress look. On the black tie embossed white flower (#24), I inked it with red stazon and then put a layer of modge podge and then a layer of powder pigment to make it sparkle !

MM advent kit from target

Prima belle Fleur, gold embossed

Prima Crown Jewels in marie antoinette (that is the big green blossom on top, I LOVE it!)

Prima Essentials 3 in Rue 88Prima Black tie collection

Prima Say it in crystals small swirls

and Prima Say it in Crystals centers

BTW, tomorrow I am going to post a YUMMY and oh so easy recipe that is family friendly, peppermint cookie crunch bark. This was a hit @ my workshop for church.
