Here are a few others of my SOY LO's I used so me of my older stuff due to lack of time!
painting piggies:
this was my first SOY project
One Year:
this was a LO I made I think in february. I was eager to use my new AL $1 stamps.
I am really happy where my style is headed. I see these which were just done earlier this year and I am like a totally different scrapper. Both of these I love, but it is jsut amazing how you grow through the process.
thanks!
Liz, found your blog through ckmb. I love the layout of your little girl and her painted toes. It is amazing to see how we all grow as scrapbookers. Love, love your work!!!
ReplyDeleteLiz,
ReplyDeleteI love your LO's. What talent you have. Keep up the great work.
Does it ever bring back memeories of my Mom and me(the deliciously girly girl stuff "Painting Piggies" lo). Just thought I'd leave a hi and bye(for now, will try to get here later tonight), I think I'll go click on the Ali Davis name... Joyce
ReplyDeleteYou are so totally right about the scrapper evolution. That's what makes it a fun and everchanging hobby. We'd get pretty bored pretty quickly if we stayed the same. Great job on your layouts!!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, must do LO with black background!!! Where'd that JFM go anyway?? :D
ReplyDeletePS~thanks for the comment on my blog!!!! Totally made my day!
liz,
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful!!! :D
On the background of the piggies layout, please tell me you did not individually cut and ink all those little squares!!! How long did that take? Well, it was worth it, the effect is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteI think you are talking about the orange PP in the background? It was in an 8x8 stack that I bought last year. It is rob and bob. I did exacto the design of the black pp to layer the orange sheet under it.
