What a Weekend!!!

I just want to thank all of the fun people I met this weekend at the Urban-Anthology Cyber Crop for the Cure. We completed a great LO and had fun with tons of product and techniques. If you have a chance, check it out on their site, the tutorials I did are still up and can be found here:

Post 1: Photo editing, creating a warm autumn glow and leveling out your pictures
Post 2: Prima Hybrid, introducing the easiest form of hybrid (that I have seen) that will give your pages an added depth and pizzaz.
Post 3: Creating a custom background page using plain carstock, glimmer mist, acrylic paints, distress ink pads and stickles.
Post 4: Hand made Embellies: video 1-creating a harlequin pattern out of cardboard and Prima Paintables. video 2-Altering your cardboard to give it a "Girly Grunge" look.
Post 5: finalizing the layout and glimmer misting flowers the Final project is shown as well as explained.

So in total there are 6 tutorial videos one in each post with the exception of post 4 that has two.

Let me know what you think, I had tons of fun and again a big THANK YOU to the peeps over at Urban Anthology, Kari, Ching and the gang.... I had a blast!

Urban Anthology Cyber Crop

Hey everyone!!!

*****NOW IN PROGRESS, COME JOIN THE FUN!!!*******

As I mentioned before, I am the guest designer over at Urban Anthology and will be hosting a start to finish project entitled "Courage". I chose this title for their Scrap Pink Cyber Crop that they will be hosting this weekend starting Friday the 17th and going on through Sunday the 19th. I will be hosting an online chat from 8-10 PST in my jammies. I am doing two giveaways of loose product to embellish your start to finish project. In order to be entered, just participate in the online crop and post as we go through out the weekend on any of my posts. I will randomly choose two winners from all of the posters and mail out two goodie bags of stuff. So the more you post, the better your chances are to win!

This is a great start to finish using photo editing, Prima hybrid, creating your own back ground, hand made embellies, and adding regular embellies.

You are sure to brush up on some things you may already know or learn a thing or two, regardless we are all there to support a worthy cause, Breast Cancer Awareness and scrap a little too!

PS, excuse my shakey videos, I had James help me with the Hybrid one, and well he did a great job considering my demands! As Becky would say, he's a good scaddy.

Hope to see you there!!!

This and That

This weekend for all of you So Calies, I will be at scrapfest doing a Make and Take Sponsored by Prima, Tattered Angels, Sakura of America and Beacon Adhesives (try saying that 5 times fast). It is a totally cute card using IOD paintables on IOD paper with bling, flowers and lace. We will be altering them with a variety of fun Sakura pens and Glimmer Mist and nailing down to the card with my go to adhesive, Fabritac ( I LOVE this stuff!!!). I hope to see you all there!!!

Next weekend...

I was just asked to be the special guest over @ Urban Anthology a totally chic scrapbook and kit club site. I was able to get a sneak peak of their October kit and I drooled! It is now posted in their shop so stop by and check it out, you are sure to be "Bewitched".

I am doing things a little different over there. This time I will be doing a start to finish project. I will start the page from pic, go through my editing process, and then add a little hybrid effect and continue on to my paper project. I will be using some fun stuff from my Prima stash and well anything else that will stick to the page for that matter. I really hope you all will come on over and check it out, step out of lurkerdom and take advantage of this FREE crop. It starts on Friday the 17th and will continue till Sunday. I will be on and off through out the weekend but will be on for a live chat on Saturday (not sure of the time yet, have to see the boys soccer schedules). As always I will be doing a few giveaways, I will possibly do a goody bag or two of some Prima stuff that is out of the package, not to sure what but it will be good! Also they have a super cute album kit for sale that is only $25 and $10 of that will go to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Now THAT is cool!
So stop being shy, come on over and join us for a fun filled weekend that will totally rock! And is TOTALLY FREE!
See you there!
