So I am leaving today for yet another trip to California, I know it doesn't make sense to have left California when I keep going back! lol! This time I am going to Northern Ca. I will be at the Pleasanton Scrapbook Expo teaching Glimmer Mist 101 and 201 to crafters. Although the Glimmer Mist 101 classes are all sold out, there are still a few seats left in the 201 class. This class is a little more in depth and will explore surfaces and mixed media products. It is a great way for scrapbookers to get a glimpse into a little altered crafting. So if you are in the area, please stop by and say hi!
As well I am happy to announce that I have been asked to be a Guest Designer over at Couture Cardstock. I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to cardstock. I mean, who wouldn't????
So I know I already posted this pic on Monday's post, but I had originally scheduled it for today. I decided to keep this pic in this post because well, I am just so excited to share it with everyone.
This is a sneak peek at one of my projects for their blog. I was asked to do three, although I ended up up with 4 (go figure!), Here is a sneak at one of the projects I did for them. This one is called "Style". It is an over the top (who, me?) layout of my daughter. I caught this cute pic of her while we were shopping at Clothes Pony in old town. Although she didn't want to stop and try on this hat initially...she is my daughter and well we tend to gravitate towards to opulent. This hat looks so cute on her and that little side way glance melts my heart :)
Here is one that I called BE YOU-NIQUE. Inspired by a conversation that I had with someone whom is so dear to my heart. When I can post the full image I will share the full story with you all.
I was given some GORGEOUS red, turquoise and lavender card stock to work with, and wouldn't you know...they look awesome together!
I can't wait to share these all with you, and especially this one, because the story touched me so very much.
I believe that they will be posting my stuff this week, but for now join me each day as I share a little sneak peek at what I did for them. I have one other sneak peek to share this week which shares an AWESOME pleating technique.
Thanks for peeking!
